Walkley Wordsmiths, 13 October 2019

Words have power. They can be drawn, bent, cut and welded with other words to produce a meaning. This requires a specific talent to be successful. If you are you a fan of creative writing, then this event is for you!

Come along to Walkley Community Centre to enjoy an evening of poems, stories and the fun of spoken words from local poets, and an open mic and readings from our "In our Day" dementia project.

Also, local poet Kevin Hanson will present his latest collection of poems "The Insect Horizon"! More about the book here.

The event, which is part of Heritage Open Days, is free to attend, but tickets must be acquired in advance via Eventbrite or Walkley Library.
