Competition, new books and Beat the Street!

Local author Michelle Harrison's new book Do Not Disturb the Dragons - set in a kingdom of rules - no eating ice cream for breakfast, never stand at the wrong end of a unicorn and if you are a girl, do not even think about becoming a knight (especially Princess Grace) is available in the blue sticker collection. However you can win your very own copy. Pop into the library for a competition sheet and draw a unicorn or dragon to have a chance of winning one of 8 prizes.

Beat the Street, 16 June-28 July 2021

Beat the Street is up and running throughout the city and 450 boxes have been installed. All you do is pick up a card - which are available from the library - register online and scan your card on two boxes within one hour. There is one outside the library, which can be your starting point, and there are plenty around Walkley and Hillsborough (one person did 6 in the hour!). So there is a challenge!
