Reopening from March 17th

In line with government advice, we will be re-opening the Library for collections only. We will be following all the government's social distancing guidelines to provide a safe setting for you when you drop off and collect your books.

  • From Wednesday March 17th, we'll be open on Wednesdays 12pm-3pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm.

  • From Friday 16th April, we also plan to open on Friday afternoons, 2pm-5pm.

Depending on updates from Sheffield City Council and general progress along the government's 'Road Map', we are currently planning to open for restricted browsing access from week commencing 12th April. Watch this space! You can reserve books on our Blue Sticker collection here and Sheffield City Council's catalogue here. During opening hours, you can also call on 0114 2312947.

If there's something in particular you're looking for and we don't have it, let us know. We've received some funds to buy some books for our Sheffield Libraries collection, and are looking for ideas. They can be specific books, or maybe a genre you feel we need more choices in. Contact us on
