Please come and join us for our first online Annual General Meeting and for an update on what has been happening in the Library over the last year and where we are heading. It’s on Thursday 10th December – 7.30pm start. Please RSVP to email@example.com Joining details will be sent to you when you RSVP.
In compliance with our Constitution, a number of Trustees have to stand down (but they can re-apply). This year Mark Crossland and Nicola Dempsey will be standing down. We are on the look-out for new Trustees as we have room for more than we currently have. WCL and other Libraries see the importance of succession and we do need new people coming forward. We would particularly welcome a Trustee to take on the post of Treasurer in the future (with a period of time of shadowing Matthew, of course!), a Trustee with fundraising experience and also a Trustee with HR experience and/ or volunteer management. If you want to find out more about what being a Trustee means in practice, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and Nicola will get back to you. To apply to be a trustee, one does not have to be serving volunteer. We welcome interest from, and suggestions of, people with experience in similar charities or links with other organisations. We also have a Main Committee who are focused on the day-to-day and operational aspects of the Library, which have been challenging this year. We welcome new members to the Main Committee – again, get in touch with the Trustees. Please get your nomination forms for the Trustee and Main Committee posts to us by Tuesday 8th December to be considered at the AGM. Nominations forms can be found here: Main Committee nomination form Trustee nomination form.

Hope to see you there!
